I have a question about Can't
access some websites while using a shared PPPoE connection:
Having read the article and the posts, and tried the suggestions, I'm still having
problems.
Firstly ping times out. I solved this by pinging www.dslreports.com which worked
for a while but not now.
Secondly, having established a MTU of 1426 was required, I used DSL Dr to set it
to this value. On rebooting, the maximum I could ping was 1398. Matt

had a similar problem in Win XP so I tried the suggestions there. Still no joy.
Any help would be very gratefully received. You can probably tell I'm a newbie so
bear with me....
