Question about 'Enabling or Disabling Automatic Windows Update' Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at 11:49 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jade (1 messages posted) I have a question about removing the annoying windows automatic update on my computer. I have windows 2000 and according to MS - uninstallation is not available. I downloaded this by accident and now want to get rid of it. I would like to manually check for my own updates when Im good and ready - and not have it pop up on me everytime I start windows. Thank you!
