Question about 'Force NumLock to Behave'

I have a question about Force
NumLock to Behave:
I've done the registry hack and it works. But my computer is a laptop and I don't
want the numlock on when it's not docked (and I'm using the built-in keyboard with
the numeric keypad overlaid on the alpha keys, like most laptops). When it's docked,
I have a full-sized keyboard attached.
Is there any way to have the numlock setting based on the docking status?
