'Have Windows NOT Power Down Your Computer Automatically' Thursday, February 13, 2003 at 9:03 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jim (1 messages posted) I have a PC with Win2K and an ATX (AMD/ASUS motherboard) and it powers down when I shut down -- but I don't want that! I shut everything off -- montors, PC, speakers -- using a power bar. How do I disable this feature? Also, the ATX won't come up when I turn the power bar on -- I have to press the switch on the front of the PC. If you can help with that I'd be grateful.
