Question about 'Customize Your Keyboard Mapping'

I have a comment about Customize
Your Keyboard Mapping:
For Win2K this article does not work at all... in the end I found this Microsoft
article which did the trick. Just don't confuse the keyboard layout and
keyboard layouts (plural) registry keys. The same article also gives directions
for removing/disabling keys you never use.

Thanks! Final piece to a puzzle in XP I've been researching for a while. The MS
article gives the key data (pun intended) that an otherwise excellent PC WORLD article
(http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article/0,aid,65157,pg,3,00.asp) neglected, namely
that the number of Dwords must be specified, and a terminator added at the end of
the sequence. I also did a bit of searching on the web to locate the standard scancodes.
This can be had by a link in the MS article you specified. Also, another page for
scancodes:
http://www.barcodeman.com/altek/mule/scandoc.php3
Again, thanks!

Critical point, the PC World article is WRONG and can cause bizarre remapping of
your keyboard. For an easy and safe way to remap, your Win2K oir XP keyboard, with
a tutorial:
