I TOTALLY agree, I'm so happy that I can finally see all those websites now! There
were an unbelievable amount that wouldn't show up. I'm curious what MTU values other
people were coming up with, I got 1472. I have mine set up through Verizon DSL,
both comps running Win2k. Lifesaver, this article. Now I can breathe again. ;)

Hello all - Well, after three days of hacking at my Registry, changing just about
everything, I have another solution to mix into the mix:
Nothing fixed the problem, so I called Belkin, the makers of my router, to see if
they had a solution. Firmware upgrade. Three minutes later all was fixed. Sheesh
- if I restore my Registry will it break again?!?!

Works perfectly! Well, I'm using Mac OS X, and so when I tried this on Terminal,
it didn't work. However, I used Windows 2000 on my Virtual PC, and it worked like
a charm!
By the way, the MTU that worked for me is 1472. For Mac OS X users: System Preferences
-> Network -> Configure (Ethernet connection) -> Ethernet (last tab) -> Configure
manually -> Change maximum MTU packet size to whatever works for you.
