I have a question about Force Office 2000 to Open All Documents in the Same Window:

I must be missing something - installed unzipped file {with no macro language showing} into "Start" (documents & settings for W2K) and I'm still getting multiple starts of Word. Help Please!

The problems you both are experiencing are due to (I think) you placing them in Windows
2000's start up folder.
i.e. c:\documents and settings\all users\start menu\programs\startup.

MS Office 2k programs have their own seperate startup folder. You have a different
one for each. For example, here is a path that would be used by Word, with %username%
replaced by the username of the person who is logged in:

C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

However, this can be placed anywhere.
As the original message points out - Open word > Click "Tools" > "Options" > click
tab "File Locations" and look across from "startup". The location is there

(you may have to select startup then click on "modify" to see or edit the entry.

I hope this helps. You have probably found your error by now anyway.
