[vcache] equivalent in win2k?

I have a question about Stop Windows from Wildly Accessing your Hard Disk:

I have win2k on my home pc with 256 Megs of ram and I find that it always seems to swap like crazy, especially when I work with large files. I suspect that disk caching is paging out my applications.

Is there a way to restrict the amount of memory used for disk caching (like the [vcache] section in win98's system.ini) ?

U know what Adrian, I tried the win98 swap file optimization on win2k and it worked, so if u gots a spare hdd around, try the install and the try the same steps, although in step one, u gotta find the advanced tab on the properties of my computer and then the first button will be the performance options button, click it and do the same steps, Goodluck in ur quest for a stable windows system :)
