I have a question about Connect to a Windows XP or 2000 system with a Windows 95, 98, or Me system over a Network:

I have a Win2000 box and a Win98 box. How do I make them talk?

In w2k make a user from the machine name in your w98 comp. Don't forgett grant rights... In the win98 comp you have to be in the same workgroup. Hope it helped. // Vipers

What you have asked is like asking a surgeon how to rejoin a hand to an
arm :~)
Spend quite a few hours (and dollars if you haven't got Ethernet
cards / cables).
Win2k has help on Internet Connection Sharing in the index -
have a look at that, it's a simple way to get the basics of making 2
computers talk, and you can connect both to the Internet with only one
modem
And check any Win2k help on sharing resources..
