For those of you who don't know or really want to impress a tech support technician
sometime, your can use an extrememly quick shortcut to the device manager: Hold down
the Windows key on your keyboard and hit the Pause/Break Key...Works in all Windows
versions, including the useless new version, XP

Create a one click short cut. Go to Start. Then Explore. Double click on WINNT folder.
Click on Show File if the file if you don't see any file in the folder. Then open
System 32 folder. Then look for the file DEVMGMT . Right click on it and then create
shortcut. Drag shortcut to Start Menu or desk top and you are ready to go the next
time you want to go to device manager. Good Luck.
