When I use the windows explorer in Win 2000, it has my favorites links from my web
browser included in the menu. Is there any way to remove this stupid feature from
the windows explorer? I have no desire to have my web links included on the menu
bar, and having it there is annoying. I suppose MS thought it would be a wonderful
part of their web desktop idea. Pity it didn't occur to them there a people out
here who don't like the web desktop idea and want no part of it.

Just right click on the icons you see below the menu and you will get a list of options.
Select customize and it will give you a windows split in half. This lists all the
icons you have on the right and the ones you could add on the left. Select "Favorites"
on the right then select remove and click close.

I'm not sure I understand. Specifically what am I to have open (windows explorer
I assume), now where precisely do I right click and what icons are you referring
too. I could not find anything that matched your description.
