My friend explained a similar problem that I was having with videos getting "jerky" when my system was more than sufficient for smooth rendering. He advised me to reformat and reinstall windows 2000. Then, he advised downloading the service pack before installing the video cards drivers. This corrected the problem. He said it had something to do with Intel and didn't matter if your PC used Intel or not.
