Window 2000 Professional
anyone ever had a dialog box pop up with winmgmt.exe error, then this error has been
logged?
if you close it, seconds later it comes back?
any resolution or cause of this problem would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you installed SP2 for Win2K?

SP2 is installed. For now I went into services and
and set "Windows Management Instrumentation" disabled? (the error popup was real
annoying!!)

Unfortunately, Microsoft says that Service Pack 3 fixes the problem but does not.
I have only one PC showing that message upon booting up and can't get rid of it.
What I'd like to know is if I disable this will it cause anything to crash?

I am having this same problem. In fact as I am writting this letter it is popping
up all the time. How do I get rid of it once and for all?
