I have re-installed both my drivers for my Geforce 2 MX (The NVIDIA Detonator Driver, And also the provided AsusTek driver, both unsigned, both not working correctly) and both directX 8.0 and 8.1 (using a third party DirectX core eradicator, also not working correctly) around 5 or 6 times... Attempting to play a game (*laughs*) and cannot get the video modes to funciton correctly or even be detected... I have used my brain to wits end, and now im just about to the point of throwing my computer out the window... please help!

The GeForce 2 MX series has a problem with running in a resolution higher than 800x600.
Also, what games are you attempting to play? Some may have known issues, also what
kind of motherboard, processor, amount of ram? We need these things to properly diagnose
the problem.

I am also experienceing problems with my Geforce 2 MX card similar to yours. I just installed Windows XP and the graphics look fine & everything. The problems come when I attempt to play any games or videos. I'm guessing this is a DirectX problem...or a AGP Bus problem or something in the BIOS?...not sure...if anyone can help? I have tried different Drivers from AOPEN and NVIDIA, same problems. I have installed the VIA 4 in 1 drivers, no effect either. My system specs are: Pentium 500 (SLOT1 KATAMAI) 128MB PC100 SDRAM Zida BX98-3D Motherboard with VIA VT82C691 Chipset AGP 2x AOpen Geforce 2 MX-400 w/TV-Out Windows XP
