Question about 'Customize Drive Icons'

I have a question about Customize
Drive Icons:

Hi, I just read the article mentioned above here, cause i wanted to change the icon look in win2000. The only problem i have ,is that the drive i'm trying to change is a network drive (actually a cdrom), so it has no writable root... plus it's on another machine and it's pretty annoying that all the network drives look alike. Has anyone encountered this problem, a suggestion, or solution? Thanks in advance! Latif

Make a shortcut and alter its icon.
