Question about 'Why are some entries missing from the Start Menu?'

When I go into the Taskbar properties, there's nothing about a Classic Start Menu, and the Start Menu Settings part has nothing to do with personalized menus (Windows 2000 Professional). What should I do?

I'm trying to make it so I don't have to click the little double arrows just to see what's in my start menu. The other messages in this thread talked about "Classic Start Menu" and "Personalized Menus" but I can't find anything about either of those. Please help!

Right click on Taskbar, select Properties & on the Generals Tab uncheck "Personalized Menus"

There is no such thing to click on, that's what I'm saying. I go into the taskbar properties and there's nothing about personalized menus or classic start menu or anything.

right click on the taskbar, go to properties, then click the start menu tab, then customize, and uncheck use personalized menus.
