Question about 'Uninstalling Windows'

I have a question about Uninstalling Windows:

I have installed Windows 2000 as a dual boot configuration on two computers. On one of these I am having problems and want to uninstall it so that I can upgrade the original 98 to 2000 instead of having the dual boot. Is there a way to do this wthout actually formating and beginning all over which would be a nuisance. Any help will be much appreciated.

IF you have win2k on a different partition, delete that partition, use a startup disk to boot into dos, type sys c: a:, then load up the win2k disk, and install and choose upgrade. If win2k is on the same partition, just delete the winnt folder, do the startup disk thing with sys c: a:, then do the installtion upgrade.
