Question about 'Troubleshooting Driver Problems'

I have a question about Troubleshooting
Driver Problems:
I have a Wearnes CD-R/CD-RW drive that I bought about 2 years ago and cannot for
the life of me find any windows drivers for it. I just lost my hard drive and have
now reloaded but, cannot seem to make this drive happy at all. I just had to write
after reading what was said about "scolding" the vendor, WEARNES, because that is
what I JUST did about 5 minutes ago via signing their guest book with violence!
Anybody know anybody who has a driver that will make my CDRW drive work? It is a
WEARNES CDRW-622 model and I need the drivers for both Windows 98SE and Windows 2000
Professional. Thanks! Clint

hello mate I had exactly the same problem with my cdrw.
I found that if you go to the cdrw properties and uncheck the dma box then the cdrw
will work properly.
sorry this is about 8 months late, you have probably bought a replacement drive by
now.
good luck any way
