Question about 'Getting Network Neighborhood to recognize newly attached computers'

I have a question about Getting Network Neighborhood to recognize newly attached computers:

I want to network four computers together (1) runs XP and (3) run 2000. The XP computer is the newest. I have no problem with the original two (2000) but the last two we added will only show up on the network one at a time. If one computer shuts down the other one shows up and vice-versa. One of these computers is the XP. The two have different names so we know that isn't the problem. Any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

Try this. Install the Netbeui protocol on all the machines. Restart them all. Give it a few minutes for netbios resolutions. See if you can see all the systems from every other system. If so, the problem has to do with IP.
