An unusual problem for all those Windows networking gurus out there.  This one is 
driving me around the bend!

I have successfully linked my Windows 2000 laptop to my home peer-to-peer network, 
running a mixture of 2000, 98 and 95 machines.  The logon on the laptop is valid 
and I can view the connection through the Computer Management facility in Control 
Panel.  All is working fine EXCEPT one thing.  I can view and access all the files 
on the laptop except those in the My Documents folder, which, of course, are those 
to which I really want access in order to synchronise them with my desktop.  Although 
the files are visible in Windows Explorer, any attempt to read from or write to the 
folder results in an error message telling me that I don’t have the required permissions. 
 I have checked and re-checked the permissions without any luck.  Given that I can 
connect to the machine in the first place and read other files, I suspect that this 
isn’t something that is protocol or workgroup related but perhaps something in 2000 
that I have missed.  It is doubly frustrating because I can access the equivalent 
files on the other 2000 machine on the network without any problem.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.  Thanks in advance.
