Question about 'Share an Internet Connection'

I have a network with Win2000 and Win98 SE and use ICS. All work fine, but when the Win2000 machine is trying to connect i get 4 times the following error in the event viewer: IPNATHLP, "The Network Address Translator (NAT) was unable to request an operation of the kernel-mode translation module. This may indicate misconfiguration, insufficient resources, or an internal error. The data is the error code. " After this, Win2000 connects to my provider and both machines can connect the internet. So internet-connection is no problem, but it takes about 3 to 5 minutes until the connection is set up. Can anyone help me with this? thanks in advance, Alan.

Yes, it is, i'm using an ADSL connection. But there 's got to be a way to solve this without spending more money on it. It worked before... but then again... it's MS...

Hello, I've got the same identical error code when I try to connect with ADSL. Did you solve this problem? How?

KB293497 only applies if you are using Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server. It is not possible to tweak the NAT service as described under Windows 2000/XP.

Can someone help me? Can't seem to find the ICS properties (I'm running Windows Server 2003, and a friend helped me set up ICS)... Err, I'm feeling dumb ^_^; ... Most I can do is modify my network connections, though there doesn't appear to be any ICS options in there.
