I have a question about Explorer is reporting the wrong amount of free space (FAT32 Free Space Bug):

With windows 2000 I try to run Scandisk but when i search for the program it says it cannot be found! any help?

W2K does not use the FAT32 file system instead it uses the NTFS "New technology File System". It does not have ScanDisk like those systems which run FAT16 & FAT32 , instead it employs CHKDSK.EXE in common with XP and Windows 3.1. Iain.

Actually Iain, 2000 can be installed and run on FAT32.
