Question about 'Force NumLock to Behave'

I have a question about Force NumLock to Behave:

I've tried all the suggestions from the previous posts. It's off in the BIOS, its off until the user logs in then its on. I've gone int the registry, it's set to 0 there already. If I log in as a different user, its off. This machine is a Dell Laptop and it makes things a lot easier on the user if NumLocks is off. Anything else you can think of to try?

On Dell Laptops, there is a special key, in blue usually on the bottom row of keys next to the cntrl and alt called, if I remember correctly, FQN. You can enable NumLock on the keyboard in the top right region by pressing the FQN key and NumLock key in blue. Maybe it was accidentally turned on, and doing it again will turn it off.

I'll have to check my laptop when I get home, and make sure. I'll post back later, but try something with that for now.

good luck
