hmm, i had problems like that as well, the best way i fixed it was going through
the "control panel." clicking on "system," going to the "advanced tab," then going
down to were it says "startup and recovery," and at the bottom or towards there,
you should see something that has a drop menu, and it will or might say small memory
dump (?Kb), if you dont want your computer to do that anymore simply set this drop
menu to (none) and it will eliminate that problem, now its not the best way but if
you dont want it to happen anymore do that!...if you need more explanation email
me!

There are more things 2 know with the problem you have. You probably have a Speedtouch
USB modem by alcatel!!?
I've had the same problem as you have. Especially when you're downloading large amounts
of data from the net, with kazaa for instance.
You should upgrade your driver for the modem. But you could also try the providious
tip :P

hey ive also had a similar problem
my computer keeps restarting, mainly when i am trying to do lots of things like if
i just finish a game online and i quit, it suddenly restarts for no reason.
does anyone know how i can overcome this problem

That doesn't solve the problem actually.... just happened to me when i turned off
restarting.

but y is it still keeping on restarting? my os is win 98. When i try to open my pc...it
will restart again and again until you can't open it. pls.......
