GStartup.Ink

When I start my computer, I get an 'error' message, that says: "GStartup.Ink is not
available to you, try again.". Using Search from the start menu shows this is not
on my maching (Windows2000 Professional). I did use Task Manager to get rid of the
GMT file (ads and banners from gator), but even after the error message, my machine
starts fine. What the heck is GStartup.Ink, and do I need it?

It's not GStartup.Ink but GStartup.lnk (lnk with an L as in Look). It should be in
your startup folder (C:\Documents and Settings\\Start Menu\Programs\Startup).
If you delete it your problem should be solved (assuming that you deleted the program
that installed the Gator software).

I am having the same problem. I was able to locate the file GStartup.lnk, however,
if I delete it I will continue to have the same problem until I find what the the
Gator Software that installed it.
What is the Gator software? Where is located? How do I remove it?
Thanks Rene.
