I have a question about my windows 2000 not recogninzinf my hp laserjet 4 printer. when printing i get a blinking form feed and ready lite but no actual print. i have check the cables and use this printer on another machine any help would be appreciated

I had the same problem. Even had a tech guy come out and spend several hours, but he couldn't speed up the printing (my would print, but only after a longggg wait). He finally loaded the HP Laserjet III drivers, which works OK. It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles my LJ4+ drivers had (primarily more dots per square inch or DPI), but at least it works.
