upgrading to 2000

I purchased my compaq in 1999,December as a matter of fact,and I want to know is
it capable of be upgraded to 2000. It say's that it is a presario, but the only
numbers on the tower are 7470. I can't locate much about it on the Hardware compatability
list.

Windows 2000 doesn't require much to run:
>133 Pentium or AMD CPU
64 megs or more RAM
At least a 2 gig HDD, with 650 megs free
Your computer meets all those prerequisites, and you can find all the newest drivers
for it HERE.
