Im trying to get group policy from a windows 2000 advanced server to a windows xp client machine. My client refuses to except the policy. when I log on as a user that is in that group the policy is not implimented its like it just does not exist. does anyone have any advise for me.

What policy?  Is it a user policy or a computer policy?  Is your LAN connected to 
a WAN controlled by corporate?

Some policies we cannot impliment because our LAN has policies that trickle down 
from our corporate that prevent us from running them no matter what we do.
