What is the OS load option /fastdetect??? I find many references to it, but nothing
explaining what it does. Microsoft even has a TechNet article on bootcfg that claims
a Knowledge Base article (Q170756) contains a list of available load options. It
does contain a partial list, but nothing about /fastdetect. I also found a nice
article on "Parameters for the boot.ini file". Again a list of some of the available
OS load options but absolutely nothing about /fastdetect. What is this thing?
Thanks!
