Multimedia audio controller driver

I recently installed win2k but I accidently loaded drivers for my inspiron 8000 win2k.
The audio worked well when I had XP. I disabled the driver and tryed reinstalling
the driver but the online windows could find no suitable driver for the device. My
computer came with no disk. Computer, 1.8 netvista 512 RAM

Hey guys.
I really need to get the driver for the 'Multimedia Audio Controller'.Life is hard
without sound on my computer...Anyway, I am having a lot of trouble finding the driver
for this hardware.
Computer: Acer Aspire RC500
Specs: 512 MB ram, 80 GB HDD, 16 - bit Sound Blaster.
About the sound card, the 16bit sound blaster, im not sure which company its from.
when i bought my computer i did not pay attention to what company. So now when i
need it, i cant find a suitable driver.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot...
