upgrading from me to 2000

When I put in the 2000 pro cd it comes up the verision of windows is newer do YOU
want to up grade and I press Ok.
Then it comes up can not load C:\windows\upgdlls\w95upg.dll\WIN9XUPG\W95UPG.DLL.
i KNOW THE DISK IS A FULL VERISION
ANY HELP THANKS

I am not too familiar with ME, but I do not think you can upgrade from ME to 2000
without a clean install. I think that would be the route to go anyway, it is always
best to reformat before loading 2000.

Windows 2000 is not a supported upgrade from Windows ME. For more information visit
