Setting up a ''hidden'' edu ftp.

Ok, I realize that this isn't exactly the place I should be going to, but Im
having issues. Im in the dorms on a .edu connection, and I need to setup an FTP
that the "Computer Support" idiots won't be able to find. Whenever I try to run
my ftp "they" call me the next day telling me to shut it down, or they will shut
ME down. I've tried a few different ports, but can't seem to find the "magic" one.
Does anyone know anything that can help me out?
Thanks!

You are right this is not the forum to ask how to set up a ftp site, that your computer
support idiots will not find at your place of lower learning.
You are the idiot to think you can do things you are not supposed to do and your
support idiots will not find out about. If I was your computer support you would
lose your network connection so fast and until you left your place of lower education.

You can't hide anything from a system administrator. We have complete access and
control over the network(s) we manage. If you want to get yourself banned from using
the network at whatever school you are going to, or maybe even getting expelled then
keep on being a moron and try to break the rules.
I think they are being way to nice to you. If anyone tried that crap on my network
they would be banned for life.
