re: Question about 'Force Outlook XP to allow EXE file attachments'

I don't know if there is for Outlook 2000 but I know this. If you archive the
.exe file with WinZip, you can then attach the .zip file without trouble and send
it. The person receiving the file will simply have to unzip it to use it.

Thanks - I already do this. But it doesn't help me when somebody sends me an executable!

My mistake, I thought you were talking solely about sending them. In 2000's version
of OE you can go into the Options (Tools >> Options) and once that opens click on
the "Security" Tab. At the top under "Virus Protection" uncheck the box that prevents
attachments.
