Question about 'Turn Off the Documents Menu'

I have a question about Turn Off the Documents Menu:

I don't see any "Program" tab for the batch file properties. A shortcut to it created by Windows 2000 has a "Program" tab, but it doesn't have a "close on exit" checkbox and it *always* closes the window on exit. For this batch file, it may be possible to copy and edit a MS-DOS shortcut (PIF file.) I am trying to run a batch file that does a directory listing, and if I run it from a PIF file, the directory listing doesn't have long filenames! There appears to be no way to run my batch file and keep the window displayed!
