The suggestion described in this article appears to basically reinstall your OS and
all your applications will need to be reinstalled as well (though your data will
remain intact). This is an incredible hassle, don't do it. There are a number of
alternatives which will simply cause the OS to re-evaluate your hardware and load
appropriate drivers. See this site;
