I have a question about When I go to add/remove programs, it says that there are no programs on this computer. I have Windows 2000 and XP and I want Windows XP off, but I don't know what I'm doing and don't want to mess the computer up. I have no Windows 2000 boot disk, and I think they're on the same partition. The only boot disk I have is 98. Can you help please.:

You loaded your programs under one operating system and not the other and are looking at add/remove using the operating system which has no programs registered. You can't load both XP and 2k at the same time, so just boot to 2k and forget XP unless you are short of hard drive space.
