do I make the background of desktop icon text transparent?:
I have been using Simply Transparent for many years to do this, with both Windows
98 Second Edition and Windows 2000 Pro, and it's supposed to be compatabile with
everything from 95 to XP. It is effective, has a well designed interface (with 2
Help levels), Text Color is selectable from a standard Windows color palette, and
it is freeware. It won't work with Active Desktop, so I guess it's not for everyone.
It's available for download on tvtech.com and download.com.
