I have a question about Things that slow down system bootup:

There is nothing in my startup folder and I've ensured that all the other symptoms are satisfied. Yet I still have items in the system tray and I want to get rid of them. How? Where are they loaded? How do I uninstal them and get rid of them?

Go to run, type in regedit, locate the following path My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Delete any programs you dont need there, Dont touch Optional Components. I usually just leave my antivirus there (and Default, which cant be deleted).
