I have a question about Stop Windows from Randomly Searching the Floppy Drive:

I have this same problem with my computer using windows 2000 professional. Does those possible solutions proposed in this article apply to that operating system as well ?

I have the same problem on win2k - are you also running nortonantiuvirus2004?
