Question about 'Getting Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to work with PPPoE'

I have an old puter with Win 2000 Pro. It has DSL connection through a router.
A few days ago the internet connection for a power user failed. The connection for
the admin account still works.
I thought the problem may be a damaged Internet Explorer so I installed version 6
over version 5; problem not solved.

On the left side of this Annoyances.org page you will see a link "Networking' click
on it. It has information that might help you with your problem.
Did this help? Tom M.
