Question about 'How do I protect myself against email viruses (such as worms)?'

I have a question about How
do I protect myself against email viruses (such as worms)?:
You can help protect the contacts in your address book. Create a new entry, call
it "A Fake" and enter the e-mail as 123@123.
Worms will go through the contacts starting at the top, but when they can't get a
succesful send it doesn't move on to the rest. The worm will still be on your system
but won't annoy others. Can't say it works with all worm types but it has proven
useful for me.

this.
It's not the best article on it I've seen, but it's what I could find in a hurry.

a good Resident AV,a good Firewall,a webbased E-Mail that screens the Mail, dont open
suspicious Mail and dont click on just any old Link in your Mail- Messages. This is
much more effective than any "Tricks". :) W.
