I am having some problems with Windows 2000 which have me terribly confused. Here are my symptoms: Computer will freeze for up to 30 seconds or so. When it finally un-freezes to where I can use it it will do the following things. If I click on ANYTHING (My Computer, Network Neighborhood, Outlook, IE, Firefox, etc....) instead of opening that location it opens the Properties box. I have to right click and click open to get into anything. Cannot connect to drives on the server of the network. Cannot use Ctrl-F to search inside a folder. Does not do anything. When I open an internet browser, when I use the scroll button on my mouse it changes my resolution, scrolling up makes it higher resolution, scrolling down makes it lower resolution. I would REALLY appreciate any help that anyone can give me with these problems. I have scanned with Norton Anti-virus, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, Webroot, SPybot, and Ad-Aware. I am not getting any kind of pop-ups. You can also email me at bdspears@gmail.com Thanks!
