Remember Username and Password

I want IE to remember my proxy username and password. It doesn't give me the tick box on the pw dialog to do this. Is there some other way I can make it save my un and pw? I have tried setting the http_proxy environment variable, but it does not seem to affect IE. In the registry, I can only find a place to specifiy the proxy, and port, and setting this in the username:password@domain:port format does not work either. How can I save my proxy username and password under IE specifically, or for all programs, globally ? Thanks --Josh

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Internet Options->Content tab->Autocomplete button->check
box "Prompt me to save passwords"->ok->ok
