Goto WD web site and download a small program that will enable the HD over 160gb.
If you need a link repost and I will post it.
OR you can just partition the drive in 3 parts
the best way, that way if you want to install XP,Linux, etc you have a spot for it.BUT
do format it in the fat32 when you install win2k, you can always move it up to NTFS
with a one line command if you want to.
OR
The easy way ,download winME boot disk
from bootdisk.com
The winME boot disk will see any HD over 62gb. and let you format it up to 2 T.B.
Have a good one

Just a note about fat32 and T.B. (terabytes)
Newer version of the FAT file system, based on 32-bit integers.
The file system is able to handle partitions of 2 TB (terabytes) size and uses the
storage capacity more efficiently than FAT16.
Definitions of terabytes
A terabyte is a unit of measurement in computers.
Because of irregularities in definition and usage of the kilobyte, the exact number
of bytes in a terabyte in common practice could be either of the following values:#
1,000,000,000,000 bytes - 1012.
This definition is used in most contexts relating to disk storage, networking, or
other hardware.# 1,099,511,627,776 bytes - 10244 or 240.
This is 1024 times a gigabyte (a binary gigabyte).
