I installed windows 2000 on a p3 computer for a friend. everything worked find for a while. Then she couldn't access the internet. She uses DSL and doesnt share with another computer. I checked everything I could but couldn not find the problem. All hardware says there was not conflicks/problems or was working properly. Network connected said it was connected but was not receiving packets. Then in device manager I noticed that under unkown devices were listed com 1 and com 2 ?? How do I fix this. ??
