I have a question about Force NumLock to Behave:

I have all the settings correct, but when I turn on the system the num lock turns on and off a few times. When it gets to the logon screen num lock is off. The computer is a Dell demension Is the there any thing I can do?

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life.
-- Chinese proverb --

num lock is a BIOS command, windows will read it and try and use it ,the flash you see is windows looking at it and trying to do what you ask of it. Check your BIOS setting, DEL key or F2 at boot the norm.. The default is on.

Look at the value of InitialKeyboardIndicators under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard . It should be set to 2 for the numlock to always be enabled.
