..does the number lock reset after re boot or start? Is there a way to set/keep NumLock on so u dont have to hit the key during Win log in,,or always.? I have a lot to worry about... Thanx.

Try this:

Start/Programs/Accessories/Accessibility/
     On-Screen Keyboard  

Click the nlk key of the on-screen keyboard.
This sets the default option to on.
