had it before me (my sister) tried to install XP but there wasnt enough room on the
Hard Drive and now it wont let me restore it to Windows 2000 or 98 , as when it starts
it just crashes and when i put an installation disc in it crashes as theres no room

Since you probably created a Mess, If it was Me I would just reinstall 2000.
You
do that by booting to your 2000 CD. at the Partition screen you choose to delete
the Partitions. That gets rid of your Mess.
Then just follow the on-screen
directions to create a new Partition, Format, and in about a Hour 2000 will be installed.
Then Check device manager to look for Hardware that might need Drivers. Get
a Firewall installed, go online to track down any Drivers you might need, and install
Programs when needed.
