My taskbar jumped to the left side and then to the right. It is NOT working properly and driving me nuts. I have read the Windows 2000 book with no success. I have set things to the default settings and still nothing. The Screen saver has disappeared also. I really need help. Thank you.

Sounds like deamons got in, or have you been playing with the settings? If this happened for no apparent reason, then you need to SCAN with vigour, otherwise.. left click on the grey area (at the clock if you have desktop items) hold the click and bring it to the bottom of the screen..that will put things back where they were. Then, right click the screen/customize my desktop/ check the box 'Show web content'... Please remember to repost if the solution works or not, it helps others with similar probs. Good luck.

Jim
