Fonts problem con Access 2000

I am having some troubles with access 2000 in a Win2k environment. First of all when I select options/data sheet and try to select a default font, the fonts list is empty! and I cannot select anything. Second ... when writing in labels creating a report, I can't get the "&" character to display (I only get a blank or an underscore). May this be related to the first problem? Thanks for any help. Giulio

As far as the empty Fonts List goes, have a look at this link:

As for the "&" - it is a special character that means the letter following is a hot
key for the button or label (so that you can use Alt + the letter to activate the
button). If you want to show an "&" in the caption, use two in a row : "&&".

Thanks for your suggestion. About the "&" character, I totally forgot ... thanks. Alas the font problem still remains. I tried to repair the font folder twice with tweak UI but it didn't make any difference. any other idea? thank you again Giulio

I can only suggest re-install / repair Office or Access
